Happy 250th, America
I believe it’s time to confront one of the biggest lies in politics. The lie is that we should fear or hate our neighbors just because they vote differently than we do. That isn’t who we are.
Most people want the same things: safe communities, good schools, affordable healthcare, honest leaders, and a better future for our kids.
What our country needs right now is radical love. We need empathy instead of insults. We need courage instead of fear. We need to be brave enough to have conversations with people who see the world differently than we do.
And we need to remember that our government belongs to all of us. We are only as good as the people we elect to represent us. That means staying informed, asking hard questions, voting, and expecting better from every leader—no matter what party they’re in.
The next 250 years won’t be built by people shouting at each other. They’ll be built by neighbors who choose kindness over division, truth over fear, and community over politics.
I still believe that’s who we are.

We won the primary — now on to November
Thanks to neighbors across Harrison, Washington, and Floyd counties, Sarah won the Democratic primary for House District 70 outright — taking a clear majority in a three-way race against Jerry Finn and Tamyra Persinger-Andres with 99% of precincts reporting. The general election is Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

Am I in Indiana House District 70?
District 70 is home to more than 67,000 Hoosiers across parts of Harrison, Washington, and Floyd counties — including Corydon, Palmyra, Greenville, and the rural communities in between.
Agriculture, small businesses, and manufacturing keep our local economy strong. Good schools and tight-knit communities keep it a place worth raising a family. I'm running to make sure state government reflects those values.
